You know and easy way to strike back at the Goons? Have all the miners get into T1 Cruisers & Frigates (use Jump clones to save your valuable implants) and go invade their space and start killing their patrols & mining operations it diesn't take much time to train up the skills to fly these ships. Hire mercs to go into their space and take out their POS.
They are already at war with BoB which is draining resources. If the "Carebears" pool their resources and organize against the Goons they could crush the Goons easily. Will it cost people, oh yes it will, but probably a whole heck of a lot less than a Hulk or two.

we have mining ops? patrols?
i'm sure theta has some mining ops i know rho does occasionaly but we all have combat ships at the ready in the station and a gate camp setup in a dead end system with a covops 5 jumps out sitting on a gate but you know they can try
Man the GS are too stupid to recognize their own tactics...
Sure you got T2 ships and the like but even a T2 ship can go down to a bunch of frigates. Gate camp? How many people you going to dedicate to holding that camp in place? Its the resource game fool. There are more "carebears" than you have pilots. You take pilots & ships from fighting BoB to cover your space, whether its to protect your own operations or those of the people paying you to use your space, they will stop paying if you cannot guarantee their safety, or to protect a POS from destruction it WILL hurt you more in the long run than it will the "carebears" that lose T1 ships fitted with T1 gear. If you weren't fighting BoB it would certainly be a different story, but you are at war and you cannot be everywhere at once.
Will they do it? Dunno, but they certainly could if you **** off enough people. Remember arrogance has led to the downfall of more than one army, nation, or empire.

Organize this then. You've gotten on your pedastal her, now it is time to rally the troops. Goons will love you for it.
You're talking big, but then simultaneously saying "Will they do it?" this is your idea, your baby, you should be responsible for its fruition. If you want to see it happen, make it happen. Have them kill and pod every single Goon pilot they see, and blow up any and all POS they find.
Why should I do that? What's in it for me? Sorry but you blowing up Hulks doesn't hurt me at all.

Oh, so you just wanted to hurf blurf about some stupid crap? Got it.
No, if I wanted the headache of running a Corp or an Alliance I'd have created one, which is what organizing several hundreds of people pretty much is. I'm just pointing out how easy it would be for the parties concerned to strike back at the Goons if they had the desire. Pointing out the potential consequences of your little jihad.
Why don't you have the balls to hit mission runners? I mean at least we can fly and outfit battleships, battle cruisers and the like. Make CNRs the target of choice and see how long before things get bad for you.

Yeah that's a lot of red, but a good deal of that red doesn't belong to GoonSwarm. What did things look like at the onset of this little conflict? I'm relatively new to EVE so I don't know what it looked like 6 months ago. How much has BoB actually lost? How much have the Goons actually won?

I'm not looking at the red, I'm looking at the goonswarm sov, you might not get it but that's a lot of space to own, goonswarm was pressed back to one station in 0.0 space at one point.
here's an older look about 7 months ago? http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/crii/26.03.109.jpg
Looks like there have been a lot of shifting in Alliances in the past 7 months, BoB has definitely lost a good deal of space. However the Goons have not gained all that much since then. In the last seven months they connected Scalding Creek and Detroid, and exchanged some of the area around Omist for a amount of that used to belong to BoB. AAA and Red Alliance have also made large gains in territory too. The Northern Allaince has also made significant gains of BoB territory as well. BFD in 7 months it will look just as different.

but you said that goons culd handle 0.0 space.
they have done nothing but gain more and more space, and not too much space.
you can't say something like goons are failing in 0.0 space, they have what ot takes that shouldn't not require explanation.
if you want I'll get even older maps.
As I said from what I've read the Goons have been getting smacked recently, it clearly state "that from all reports" now if those are inaccurate then I'm wrong but I've seen a couple Goons admit to the fact that they've been losing lately. I think even one admits to it in this thread or some other similar thread.

Well then you should learn to read better. We took QY6, broke Sov 4 in that constellation, and we lead a failed assault on NOL, and now BoB is attempting to retake QY6. So what exactly have we lost?
A failed assault on NOL sounds like you lost something to me.

What exactly would that be?
I dunno ships maybe? What normally equates to losing a battle, BoB getting a higher roll on the D20?
